Lupus is a chronic auto immune disease where the immune system mistakes the connective tissue for a foreign matter and attacks on it.
THERE ARE TWO FORMS OF LUPUS
DISCOID LUPUS ERYTHEMATOSUS(DLE)
Affects only skin exposed to sunlight.
SYSTEMIC LUPUS ERYTHEMATOSUS(SLE)
Which is more serious, it effects the skin and other vital organs,
often causing butterfly shaped rash across the nose and cheeks, that can
leaves scars if untreated.
Lupus may also inflame and damage the connective tissue in joints and
muscles and skin, as well as the membrane surrounding the lungs, heart,
kidneys and brain.
Raynauds syndrome appears in 205 of patients and can also cause kidney
damage.
Lupus in characterized by unpredictable phases of remission and exacerbation
that vary in intensity and duration.
Lupus strikes black Americans three times more then white Americans,
most sufferers are between the ages of 20-35, 90% are women.
No single agent has been identified as causing lupus.
Although some suggest a combination of genetic, hormonal, immunologic
factors maybe behind it. A predisposition seem to be an inherited trait.
Environmental elements raging from viral and bacterial infections to

lupus.
Penicillin and anticonvulsants may cause lupus like symptoms, high
estrogen levels resulting in pregnancy, estrogen replacement therapy, oral

Your doctor may have a difficult time diagnosing as it mimics other
diseases such as chronic fatigue syndrome, mononucleosis.
Blood testing for Anti-DNA antibodies, shows whether you have antibodies
to the normal genetic material in certain cells is the most definitive
way to identify lupus.
Lupus is a difficult disease to control however with close self-monitering, and proper treatment can help in most cases.
People with lupus often have food allergies, A change in diet may reduce inflammation and pain, Cut down on red meat and dairy products, and increase consumption of fish high in Omega-3 fatty acids such as mackerel, sardines and salmon.
AVOID ALFALFA HERB AND ALFALFA SPROUTS
Alfalfa contains a substance that has been proven to irritate lupus
so avoid.
Allergies can be involved with lupus the most common allergies from food are: Beef, cows milk, corn and wheat. The can also be sensitive to ammonia, formaldehyde, hair spray, ethanol, perfume and pesticides. Eliminate fats from the diet especially fried foods which is harmful to connective tissue, animal fat especially beef and pork are harmful which wears away myelin sheath covering the nerves, and dairy products creates mucus that parasites feed off of and live. A diet high in vegetables, fruit grains, brown rice, bean sprout and green salads will strengthen the immune system and cleans the blood.
